The beauty products that work as hard as you do

We are all in the market for beauty products that work as hard as we do. Say hello to these little wonders that promise to go that extra mile.

Clinique know that ‘life’s a marathon’; so why not ‘look good running it’ – hear, hear! Their newest range of 6 savvy products are 100% fragrance free and endurance tested.

As we run between our weekly class-pass sessions/circus training/or hit the slopes, skin will look good and stay that way.

Sweat and humidity resistant, the CliniqueFit Workout Makeup gives good coverage but it won’t clog pores, plus it delivers a dose of SPF40. The waterproof mascara is volumising and promises to stay put for 24-hours.

The cleansing wipes are gentle, the mattifying moisturiser does just what it says on the tub, while the neutralising face powder goes to work on over-flushed faces. Keep the hydrating spray in your bum bag for a spritz mid run; it’s also great for the beach or plane.

If you haven’t used Dermalogica skin products yet, you’re in for a treat. Free from the common irritants (lanolin, SD alcohol, mineral oil, artificial colours and fragrances) that commonly cause problems, they’re gentle but they get results. If you suffer from over oily, shiny skin post workout, give this skin kit a go.

This tidy gym-bag essential is the perfect starter kit. The products will help to reduce shine, clear congestion and lightly hydrate for an all-day matte finish.

Kit contains: Dermal Clay Cleanser (absorbing, refining cleanser), Skin Prep Scrub (skin-polishing exfoliant), Multi-Active Toner (hydrating, refreshing spritz), Oil Control Lotion (oil-absorbing moisturiser) and Total Eye Care with SPF15 (illuminating eye brightener) and all for £30.

Not only do Sport FX deliver performance sport and loungewear (check out that panel hoody) they also have a skin, make-up and hair range to have you completely gym-ready. With prices that start from just £2.99 – the body building dry shampoo (lifesaver).

The collection also includes a Cool-Cool-down primer and Recovery Gel, £9.99;  a light Balance Boosting BB Cream, £12.99 and a very good non-cakey Core cream concealer, £8.99 – in four handy shades.

In fact, the entire collection is easy on the purse strings and it works hard. Stick it all in your Get your game face on’ Make-up bag, £7.99 and rest assured you’re set for your workout and beyond.

If Barry’s (bootcamp) leaves you blotchy hours after you’ve left (yup, us too) you need a reliable concealing agent, that’ll leave you looking like the best version of you while actually doing good.
